Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for mechanical works in fit-out projects.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and budgets.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations for mechanical systems.
  • Monitor project expenditures and provide accurate cost reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation, submission, and negotiation of variations and claims related to mechanical works.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the tendering process by preparing cost breakdowns and technical clarifications.
  • Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities to maximize project profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in fit-out, interior construction, or MEP.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing & fire-fighting systems.
  • Experience in cost estimation, QS work, and contract administration.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel (advanced).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
