Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for mechanical works in fit-out projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and budgets.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations for mechanical systems.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide accurate cost reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and negotiation of variations and claims related to mechanical works.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the tendering process by preparing cost breakdowns and technical clarifications.
- Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities to maximize project profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in fit-out, interior construction, or MEP.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing & fire-fighting systems.
- Experience in cost estimation, QS work, and contract administration.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel (advanced).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
