Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Technical Lead Data Center to join our team!
The Mechanical Technical Lead provides specialist oversight for design review and construction supervision of all electrical systems associated with data center facilities, ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational resilience.
What You ll Be Doing:
- Lead mechanical design reviews including HVAC, cooling plants, CRAH/CRAC systems, and ventilation.
- Review mechanical calculations, layouts, equipment selections, and energy performance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data center performance criteria and authority regulations.
- Support site supervision, inspections, and testing of mechanical works.
- Review commissioning strategies and operational readiness plans.
- Coordinate with electrical and other disciplines to ensure integrated systems delivery.
- Identify risks, clashes, and constructability concerns.
What Required Skills You ll Bring:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years experience in data center or mission-critical mechanical systems.
- Strong background in PMC, design review, and construction supervision.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, and regional codes.
What Desired Skills You ll Bring:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Deep technical knowledge in MEP coordination.
- Ability to lead site teams under fast-track conditions.
- Proficiency in report writing and project documentation.
- Fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantage.
