Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our warehouse maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and restore equipment functionality.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
  • Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and maintain mechanical systems and moving parts.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct testing after repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and service reports.
  • Report recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience in warehouses, logistics facilities, distribution centers, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems efficiently.
  • Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance instructions.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and standards.
