Laying out the commercial carriers strategy for Middle East; which carriers to we work with, what locations and at what cost
• Standardize and improve ways to monitor the performance of the carriers; work with them to get more visibility into our systems through better tech integration
• Build vendor relationships and negotiate rates with the commercial carriers to optimize costs
• Work with internal stakeholders to drive improvements in customer experience, drive key metrics like DEA
As leader of this team, you will also be responsible for managing a team based of each country. The successful candidate will be creating new or improving existing processes that will increase delivery efficiency and decrease costs, developing innovative projects that drive improvements in our transportation processes, to include design, measurement, and performance.
We are looking for somebody who is keen on working in fast-paced environment, thinking of new and innovative solutions to increase the bar on customer experience, while also willing to go into daily metrics and deep dive into root causes. The role is a mix of strategic, tactical and operational aspects.
Responsibilities will include: Maintain weekly metrics, carrier score cards, and day-to-day carrier performance; innovate on processes to streamline the outbound from the FCs, recommend and implement process changes to increase efficiency; clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams. The position will require working closely with external clients, internal stakeholders, IT and business groups.
