Roles & Responsibilities
The MENA Regional MEAL Officer will play a key role in ensuring RSH s monitoring, evaluation and learning systems run smoothly across the 3 operational MENA contexts. Working closely with both hub teams and the global MEL function, the postholder will oversee data collection and reporting against the FCDO logframe and the RSH Theory of Change.
This is a practical, detail-oriented role that requires strong coordination, communication and analytical skills. The MENA Regional MEAL Officer will adapt MEL tools to local contexts, support colleagues to collect and report reliable data, and contribute to reflection and learning across the hubs.
Specific responsibilities:
Manage and lead monitoring, reporting and learning responsibilities across Jordan, Syria and one additional context in MENA.
- Provide ongoing monitoring leadership and support to National hubs (country offices) for MEL needs.
- Lead the development of MEL plans and logframe reporting and identify user feedback needs (already in progress).
- Support the development of data collection tools to capture user feedback and the analysis and use of user engagement feedback for decision making and learning.
- Analyse data (qualitative and quantitative) from web analytics, user feedback polls, surveys, and key informant interviews etc.
- Lead the regional reporting for the quarterly donor reports, liaising with global reporting and Online hub colleagues.
- Facilitate learning and exchange between and within national hubs across all relevant activities.
Contribute to global discussions:
- Conduct necessary analysis of monitoring and feedback data from users of all our services and products, including resources, capacity building support, webinars etc. and share in quarterly learning events.
- Ensure all dashboards and tools are up to date and cross-check results before reporting to FCDO.
- Support in the development and implementation of the global learning plan.
