Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop accurate MEP BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and related software. Prepare coordinated shop drawings, layouts, sections, and details for construction. Perform clash detection and participate in coordination meetings with structural and architectural teams. Update models based on site conditions, RFIs, and design changes. Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and company standards. Generate material take-offs and schedules from BIM models. Support construction teams with technical clarifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants for model integration. Maintain document control and versioning. Assist BIM Manager in project reporting and coordination logs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field. 3–8 years experience as an MEP BIM Modeler within construction or contracting firms. Proven experience on commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or high-rise projects. Strong understanding of MEP systems, installation methodologies, and construction sequences. Experience working on projects in the GCC or Middle East is preferred (if applicable).
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP). Good working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for clash detection. AutoCAD for 2D detailing. Familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC platforms. Understanding of LOD standards (300–500).
