MEP Design Manager ARCO TURNKEY SOLUTIONS CONTRACTING LLC

The MEP Design Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role involves leading design teams, ensuring compliance with local authority standards, integrating MEP systems into civil and architectural designs, and maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full MEP design process for infrastructure projects (roads, tunnels, utilities, airports, metro systems, etc.).

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.

Review and approve MEP design drawings, calculations, specifications, and design reports.

Ensure designs comply with UAE regulations, DEWA, ADDC, ADSSC, DM, and other local authority requirements.

Manage consultants, contractors, and third-party stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.

Prepare and monitor MEP design schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize performance and cost.

Provide technical guidance and support to design and construction teams.

Oversee design change management, risk assessments, and interface management.

Support the tendering process by reviewing technical submissions and providing recommendations.

Ensure sustainable design practices and compliance with energy efficiency and green building standards (e.g., Estidama, LEED).
