Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Prepare MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software.

  2. Develop detailed Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing layouts based on design drawings and project requirements.

  3. Coordinate with engineers, BIM modelers, architects, and other disciplines to resolve design clashes and discrepancies.

  4. Review consultant and client drawings and incorporate revisions as required.

  5. Ensure drawings comply with local authority requirements, project specifications, and company standards.

  6. Generate material take-offs and support quantity estimation when required.

  7. Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.

  8. Attend coordination meetings and provide technical drafting support to project teams.

  9. Update drawings based on site conditions and engineer instructions.

  10. Assist in preparing submissions for consultant and authority approvals.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the UAE/GCC.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM workflows is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.

  • Familiarity with UAE authority standards and construction practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
