Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings using CAD software to support project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to ensure design feasibility and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents to ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in MEP technologies to continuously improve design practices.
- Conduct site visits for field measurements and inspections to verify that the installation aligns with the design intent.
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness for construction teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP drafting within the construction or engineering sector is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is preferred for a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages is beneficial for international projects.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project needs will set candidates apart.
- A solid understanding of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems is a plus for modern projects.
