Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all MEP site activities for interior fit-out and construction projects.
  • Review and validate MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and Civil Defense regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.
  • Conduct inspections and issue technical site instructions as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MEP site issues promptly.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
  • Maintain strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines.
  • Handle additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager related to projects and site activities.
  • Prepare load calculation, power layout and schematic drawings related to MEP.
  • Prepare BOQ needed for projects.
  • Supervise Electricians, plumbers, A/C technicians.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Valid Membership with the Society of Engineers – UAE (preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum 4-6 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP works, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and Civil Defense requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
  • UAE Driving License

  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
