Job description:

Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our team and play a key role in the successful bidding and execution of high-end interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, excellent take-off skills, and prior experience working with interior contractors in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications for tender and ongoing projects.
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Analyze project requirements and propose cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Prepare and submit cost estimates, quotations, and value engineering options.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and technical data.
  • Assist in preparing technical submissions and responding to clarifications from clients/consultants.
  • Work closely with project managers, design, and procurement teams to support ongoing projects.
  • Monitor and update the estimation database with historical cost data and supplier info.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as an MEP Estimator, preferably within interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of local market rates, authority regulations, and MEP systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Bluebeam (or other estimation software).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with luxury residential, retail, FnB projects or commercial interiors.
  • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, DCD and other UAE authority requirements.
  • Immediate joiners or candidates with notice period ≤ 30 days preferred.
