Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) during various project phases, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Review MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals to verify accuracy, identify potential conflicts, and ensure constructability.
  • Monitor on-site MEP installations, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies, defects, or non-compliant work.
  • Witness and document testing and commissioning of MEP systems, including performance verification and functional testing.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Holds certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent relevant to MEP inspection is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP inspection, with experience in commercial or high-rise projects preferred.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, NEC, ASHRAE).
