Job Description

An MEP QAQC Engineer is a specialized role focusing on ensuring quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) within the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines in construction projects. The individual will be tasked with verifying that project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations. This position involves working closely with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive QA/QC plans. It requires a detail-oriented professional who can interpret complex engineering documents and specifications to ensure compliance. Furthermore, the MEP QAQC Engineer plays a critical role in identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining quality documentation that supports project success. Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC plans for MEP projects.

  • Review and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Identify areas of risk and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports for management and stakeholders as required.
  • Coordinate with third-party auditors and certification bodies to achieve quality objectives.
  • Partner with site engineers to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test records, and quality reports.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate teams on quality standards and practices.
  • Stay updated on advancements in MEP technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP quality assurance and control.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards and regulatory compliance in construction.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify complex engineering problems.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with precision.
  • Proficiency in using QA/QC software and modern construction management tools.
