As a maintenance / MEP supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of technicians to ensure high-quality engineering and maintenance services are provided consistently. This involves providing clear direction, setting performance targets, and monitoring progress. You should also foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and safety to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of your team's work. Responsibilities: - Conduct regular site inspections to identify problems and necessary maintenance. - Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work based on forecasted workloads. - Employ, supervise, and train workers to ensure their performance meets the required standards. - Oversee all repairs and ensure work is completed on time. - Maintain all inventory and equipment, ensuring proper storage. - Comply with all quality, health, and safety regulations and practices on-site. - Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work. - Conduct scheduled safety inspections. - Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance. - Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time. - Develop and maintain a planning and scheduling routine for preventive maintenance of equipment, prioritizing and estimating work and technical assistance. - Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment. - Regulate budget and track maintenance expenditures. - Regularly check and inspect the material and tools inventory and place orders when needed. - Assist with the implementation of capital projects. - Approve maintenance strategies, including monthly reporting and validation. - Effectively manage the budget and performance. - Demonstrate fantastic organizational and leadership skills. - Pay great attention to detail. - Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Possess excellent time management skills. - Have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
