As an MEP Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a facility. Your role is vital in maintaining the integrity, safety, and efficiency of these systems, which are critical to the functionality and comfort of any building environment. You will perform a mix of routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs, collaborate with other team members, and provide expertise in the installation of new systems or the upgrade of existing ones. Mastery in these disciplines ensures that the building systems run optimally and sustainably. Your expertise supports environmental quality, safety standards, and contributes to the overall organizational goals of safety, efficiency, and reliability.

• Respond promptly to all maintenance calls, including emergency repair situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficiency and extend longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues effectively.
• Repair or replace defective parts in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Install new systems and ensure they meet safety and operation standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors on major system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair work conducted.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations at all times.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies to support ongoing maintenance efforts.
• Train less experienced technicians and provide guidance as needed.
• Participate in energy conservation initiatives by optimizing system operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing fields preferred.
• Proven experience as an MEP Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and electrical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
