Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the entire order cycle, from sample development to final shipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Negotiate prices, production schedules, and delivery timelines with suppliers and factories to secure the best terms while maintaining profitability.
  • Coordinate with design, pattern making, and production teams to ensure accurate interpretation of design specifications and smooth execution of the production process.
  • Monitor fabric and trim sourcing, ensuring availability, quality, and adherence to the buyer's requirements and sustainability standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred to build a strong foundation.
  • Possessing a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in garment merchandising, with a proven track record in a factory setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes is crucial for success.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are required to manage relationships with suppliers, factories, and buyers effectively.
