Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a driven Merchant Acquisition Regional Lead to join our Merchant Acquisition team and play a key role in expanding our merchant network. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Merchant Acquisition Specialists, actively sign new businesses, and drive in-store growth. This is a field-based role, requiring regular visits to potential and existing merchants. It s perfect for an ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to make an impact.
Your Responsibilities:
- Proactive Merchant Outreach: Identify and engage with potential merchants at their physical locations, effectively presenting our solutions and demonstrating how they add value to their business.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and pain points to tailor our offerings and drive long-term partnerships.
- On-Site Demonstrations & Sales Execution: Conduct in-person product/service demonstrations, handle objections, and convert prospects into partners through persuasive selling.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights: Gather and report key market trends, competitor activities, and merchant feedback to support strategic decision-making and enhance product development, including optimizing in-store marketing materials.
- Seamless Merchant Onboarding: Guide new merchants through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and setting them up for long-term success with our platform.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Oversee and mentor a team of Merchant Acquisition Specialists, ensuring they meet targets, follow best practices, and continuously improve their sales effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Open to fresh graduates with a passion for sales and business development.
A valid KSA driver s license is required. Experience for 2+ years is preferred. Strong proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent persuasion and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and manage relationships effectively, with familiarity in CRM tools such as Salesforce and data analytics tools such as Tableau.
Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
A self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and energetic approach.
