Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed drawings, technical plans, and layouts for joinery projects using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Review project specifications, materials, and dimensions to ensure accurate representation in drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to finalize drawings for fabrication.
  • Maintain version control and document all drawings for production and project reference.
  • Assist the production and site teams by providing technical drawings and clarifications.
  • Make revisions to drawings as per site requirements or client feedback.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with project standards, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors for design approvals and updates.
  • Provide technical support during site visits to ensure designs are correctly implemented.
  • Monitored the quality of the product throughout the production process.
  • Inspected finishing to ensure it met design and aesthetic standards.
  • Checked dimensions to confirm compliance with required specifications and standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a draughtsman in the joinery or woodworking industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Knowledge of joinery materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Valid UAE Driving License mandatory
