Accordingly, we are looking for an experienced Manager based in Dubai, UAE, to run our fulfillment solutions aimed at Selling Partners on Marketplace taking care of fulfillment ('MFN' or Merchant Fulfilled Network), primarily 'Easy Ship', from a business perspective and across the region. This position will report into the Head of 3P Fulfillment.
This Manager will hold a key responsibility to ensure we run MFN Easy Ship smoothly as we scale the program and continue to add new use cases. This person will focus on implementation, execution, auditing and optimization of our OPS processes to preserve Customer and Selling Partner experience for Marketplace across the MENA region (currently 3 countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt). Specifically, the candidate will audit the following among others:
1) First-mile (booking process, prepping, organizing for pick-ups or drop-offs, troubleshooting...).
2) Monitor along Ops teams first-mile SLAs such as booking availability, courier pick-up, coverage and availability, etc.
3) Last-mile performance through Delivery Experience KPIs such as accuracy of promise, to identify any trends or recurring issues.
4) Handling returns to Sellers; Customer Service liaison with items that need to be pulled out for customer complaints.
5) Direct management of teams in 3 locales in charge of the several activities described above working on a ticket-system.
5) Program management and kaizen approach to constantly reduce defects and optimize for the overall end-to-end delivery experience.
In short, the candidate will be key to ensure the smooth running of the operational aspects of one of our most strategic fulfillment programs for Selling Partners. To that end, the candidate will work with a team of direct and dotted-line reports (Dubai and other locations) and grow the entire team into valued Amazonians over time.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors minimum; MBA a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
5+ years of experience in retail operational and/or logistics roles.

The ideal candidate has
Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail, ecommerce, consumer goods space OR 5+ years of experience in managing business for P2P platforms
An independent self-starter who thrives in connecting people and ideas and has a strong entrepreneurial drive.
Ability to define efficient and scalable processes that balancing customer expectations and Amazon costs
Strong negotiation abilities, a high degree of ownership and high attention to detail.
Excel at communication and comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization.
Ability to influence executive decision-makers, helping them to understand the proposition of the used and open box business.
Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive growth and process improvement for your business.
Is able to manage multiple competing priorities smoothly
