Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Integration Architecture & Strategy
  • Define and implement an API-first integration strategy using Azure APIM, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Design greenfield integration patterns for new digital platforms, minimizing reliance on legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to ensure alignment with cloud-native and microservices-based architecture.
  • API Delivery & Governance
  • Lead the full lifecycle of APIs—from design and documentation to deployment and monitoring—within Azure APIM.
  • Establish and enforce API governance policies including throttling, caching, versioning, and security standards.
  • Project Execution
  • Oversee the delivery of integration components across multiple squads and vendors.
  • Ensure timely execution of integration milestones aligned with sprint goals and transformation timelines.
  • Security & Compliance
  • Implement secure API access using OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, and token-based authentication.
  • Ensure all integration solutions comply with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring & Optimization
  • Set up observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to track API health and performance.
  • Continuously optimize integration flows for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems integration, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in greenfield digital transformation programs.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture (e.g., Azure Event Grid, Service Bus).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
