Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of millwrights, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all assigned tasks.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, adhering to stringent quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment lifespan.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; a trade school certification in millwrighting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a millwright, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Holds relevant certifications such as a Journeyman Millwright card or equivalent, demonstrating professional competence.
- Exhibits strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
