Our client a leading holding company in the region has exclusively mandated Gulf Connexions with an assignment to assist them in their search for a National Key Account Manager within the Mining sector. As a Key Account Manager, the main focus is to maintain and strengthen the strategic relationship and partnership with a specific mining client. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, pipeline management, relationship management and strategic account planning all whilst maintaining client satisfaction.
Reporting to the GCCO, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to;
Establish and develop strong and trusting relationships at the Key Account to build a strong partnership for expanding the business opportunities across all divisions.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements on a strategic level.
To identify and nurture new partners and solutions/opportunities that will assist in repositioning the business as a trusted advisor within the account.
Develop and implement growth strategies that will increase the overall value of the business in terms of both revenue and profitability.
Create a true strategic business partnership with the account.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience with at least the last 5 years working within the Mining industry in a Strategic Key Account Function.
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or similar- Master s Degree highly desirable.
Demonstrated and proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to develop trusted relationships at C-Level.
Ability in influence at the highest levels within the organization.
Clear understanding of growth drivers within the Mining sector.
Strong Account and Strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
