Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain management information systems (MIS) reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances, and insights to support informed decision-making by management.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, variance analysis, and performance reports to highlight key financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate information, and improve reporting processes.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial modeling and analysis support.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity within the MIS.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate profitability, cost efficiency, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Automate reporting processes using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI software to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Support audits by providing documentation, explanations, and addressing any audit findings related to MIS.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Holds a professional accounting qualification like CPA, CA, or equivalent, showcasing commitment to the profession.
  • Has 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or management reporting, indicating practical application of financial knowledge.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), evidencing technical competence.
  • Exhibits advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), highlighting data manipulation and analysis capabilities.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective interpretation of financial data.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Exhibits a keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial information.
  • Shows a proactive and results-oriented approach, contributing to the achievement of financial objectives.
  • Displays a strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, ensuring compliance.
