Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on mobile devices and laptops with precision, ensuring optimal device performance.
  • Perform component-level repairs, including soldering and replacing damaged parts, restoring devices to their original functionality.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and drivers, resolving compatibility issues effectively.
  • Conduct data recovery and backup services, safeguarding valuable user information from data loss.
  • Provide expert technical support to customers, offering clear and concise explanations and solutions to their technical problems.
  • Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring an organized and efficient workspace for all repairs.
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile and laptop technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge base and repair capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including detailed descriptions of the problem, solutions implemented, and parts used.
  • Adhere to strict quality control standards, ensuring every device meets the highest standards of functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve overall service delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in computer science or a related field is preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification is highly desirable, demonstrating fundamental knowledge of hardware and software.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile and laptop repair, showcasing practical proficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience in the consumer electronics industry, reflecting a deep understanding of device repair.
  • Proven track record of handling a high volume of repairs with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and laptop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment, and perform detailed work involving small parts.
