Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices, going beyond basic troubleshooting to find the root cause.
  • Conduct component-level repairs, including soldering, replacing screens, batteries, and other internal parts with precision and care.
  • Perform data recovery services, rescuing lost data from damaged devices, respecting customer privacy and data security protocols.
  • Maintain detailed repair logs and inventory records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking repairs and parts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical degree or certification in electronics repair is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Mobile Repair Technician certifications, are highly desirable to validate expertise.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile phone repair, demonstrating a proven track record of successful repairs.
  • Experience in a retail or customer service environment, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
