Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, from HVAC systems to production machinery, to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify root causes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage, for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve operational challenges.
- Conduct repairs and installations of equipment, ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper organization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Fabricate and modify equipment components using welding, machining, and other relevant skills to meet specific needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a vocational or technical degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as those in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems; additional certifications are a plus.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
- Displays proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC programming software.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Possesses the physical ability to perform the job duties, including the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Demonstrates a commitment to safety, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
- Exhibits excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
