Qualifications & Requirements

(Plumbing / Electrical / Mechanical / General Maintenance / Landscaping)

Educational Background:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Facility Maintenance, or related field.

Trade certifications (if available):

Electrician Certificate

Plumbing Maintenance Certificate

HVAC/Mechanical Maintenance Training

Work Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role.

Previous experience in hospitality, wellness facilities, or restaurant operations is an advantage.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving facility-related issues.

Technical Skills

Electrical

Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and safety controls.

Ability to fix wiring, sockets, breakers, light fixtures, and equipment connections.

Plumbing

Repairing water lines, drainage systems, faucets, valves, and basic water pump maintenance.

Ability to handle leaks, clogs, and installation of basic plumbing fixtures.

Mechanical / HVAC

Basic understanding of mechanical equipment used in spas and restaurants:

Steam rooms, saunas, pumps, motors, exhaust systems

Restaurant kitchen exhaust, small appliances

Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.

General Maintenance

Carpentry, painting, tiling, and minor civil works.

Preventive maintenance of facility equipment and common areas.

Knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety protocols.

Landscaping

Basic plant care, irrigation system checks, and upkeep of outdoor areas.

Ability to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of gardens and walkways.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and quick response during emergencies.

Good communication skills for coordinating with management and vendors.

Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

Team player with a professional attitude.

Additional Requirements

Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Knowledge of health & safety standards for wellness and F&B environments.

Valid UAE driving license (advantage but not mandatory).
