Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

I have a full website written in English and I’m ready to roll it out to new markets. I need an experienced translator who can take the existing pages, menus, and meta descriptions and render them naturally in one or more target languages of your expertise. Here’s what I’m looking for: • Accurate, idiomatic translation of all on-page copy, image captions, buttons, and CTAs. • Localization of tone and cultural references so the site feels native to each audience. • Preservation of SEO elements—page titles, keywords, and meta tags—while keeping them search-friendly in the new language(s). • Delivery of the translated text in an organized format (Markdown, Word, or tagged HTML) that mirrors the source structure, ready for my dev team to drop in. The source files are fewer than 8,000 words in total. You can propose any language you’re fluent in; just let me know your specialty and past web-translation experience when you bid. If you cover multiple languages, outline each one and its turnaround time. Quality, consistency, and clarity are key. I will review samples from previous website projects before awarding, and I may start with a short paid test page to ensure style alignment.
