The IRATA Level 1/Level 2 NDT Inspector role in the Oil and Gas industry involves performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to evaluate the integrity of structures, equipment, and components while utilizing rope access techniques to work in elevated or hard-to-reach areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET)
• Inspect pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, offshore platforms, and other critical components for defects, corrosion, or structural weaknesses
• Detect and evaluate cracks, weld defects, corrosion, and other anomalies in metallic and non-metallic structures
• Classify defects based on severity and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure all NDT activities comply with applicable standards such as ASME, API, AWS, ISO, or client-specific requirements

• Inspect, maintain, and properly use rope access and NDT equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, defect locations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Perform all welding tasks using rope access techniques in compliance with IRATA standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Skills

• IRATA Certification
• Minimum 1000 Rope Hour
• Valid NDT Certification
• Strong communication in English.
• 2-3 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Industry Experience
• Ensuring accuracy in welding activities and documentation
• Ability to climb height using Rope Access technique.
• Proficiency in various NDT techniques, knowledge of industry standards, and familiarity with welding tools and equipment
