Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using various methods like ultrasonic, radiography, and magnetic particle testing to identify defects in materials and components.
  • Interpret inspection results, evaluate findings against acceptance criteria, and generate detailed reports documenting the inspection process and results, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and approve inspection reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain inspection reliability.
  • Perform surface and volumetric inspections on a variety of materials, including metals, composites, and welds, using various NDT techniques.
  • Prepare test specimens, set up inspection equipment, and conduct inspections in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to understand inspection requirements and provide technical expertise in NDT methods and applications.

  • Demonstrates experience in the aerospace, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries, indicating familiarity with specific industry standards and practices.
  • Exhibits proficiency in interpreting codes, standards, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Displays strong technical skills in operating, calibrating, and maintaining NDT equipment, ensuring inspection accuracy.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective report writing and communication with stakeholders.
  • Showcases a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
  • Exhibits a detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision, ensuring reliable inspection results.
  • Demonstrates physical abilities, including the capability to work in various environments and lift/handle equipment, ensuring job performance.
