Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Network Engineer
Industry: Food & Beverages / IT / Networking
Employment Type: Full Time

Experience: Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in Food Manufacturing Industry

Qualification: Masters or Bachelors in Computers or Information Technology; CCNA/CCNP/Networking Certification mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
Provide rapid response and resolution to network issues across departments to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues effectively
Monitor network performance, addressing outages, latency, and security vulnerabilities promptly
Ensure high network availability, redundancy, and security compliance
Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration, infrastructure development, and technical projects
Lead or contribute to large-scale IT projects, such as network expansions, migrations, cloud integrations, and system upgrades
Implement network upgrades, patches, and security enhancements following organizational policies and industry best practices
Develop and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, and access control to safeguard sensitive dataMaintain compliance with internal audits, regulatory requirements, and industry standards relevant to enterprise network operations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Computers or Information Technology (mandatory)
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years UAE-based experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within the Food Manufacturing sector
  • Proven expertise in Network and System Administration
  • Excellent communication skills; Arabic is a plus
