Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architecture and infrastructure systems.
• Configure and manage security systems such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments on the network infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and address threats promptly.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enforce security protocols and policies.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to network security breaches and emergencies.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security technologies, frequently updating security measures.
• Train staff members on network security protocols and best practices to prevent breaches.
• Create and manage virtual private networks (VPNs) to ensure secure remote access.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure security measures meet regulatory requirements.
• Compile and analyze security reports to identify patterns and predict future threats.
• Oversee and guide junior network security team members in their daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security engineering or relevant field.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security protocols and measures.
• Proficiency with network security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or ISO27001.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCNP Security are highly desired.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergencies.
