Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert feeding support, including bottle-feeding or breastfeeding assistance, ensuring proper latch and technique for optimal nourishment.
  • Masterful diapering and hygiene practices, including gentle bathing, umbilical cord care, and meticulous attention to skin health to prevent irritation.
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment, planning age-appropriate activities and playtime to foster early development and sensory exploration.
  • Monitor and track infant health, meticulously recording feeding times, sleep patterns, and any signs of illness or discomfort, reporting concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and sterilize bottles and feeding equipment, ensuring all items are sanitized to prevent contamination and promote hygiene.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the pediatrician, adhering to precise dosage instructions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Soothing and comforting the baby through various methods, including rocking, swaddling, and singing, to ease distress and promote bonding.
  • Maintain the baby's nursery and surrounding areas, keeping them clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
  • Respond immediately to the baby's needs, providing constant attention, care, and a nurturing presence to ensure their well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents, sharing insights on the baby's progress and addressing any concerns or questions with empathy and professionalism.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and commitment to learning.
  • Certification in Infant CPR and First Aid, showcasing a proactive approach to safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Experience in a private home setting, indicating adaptability and the ability to work within a family environment.
