Night Audit

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the daily night audit process for all hotel and catering revenue streams (Rooms, F&B outlets, Banquets, and Outside Catering).
• Verify that all transactions are accurately posted to the correct ledgers and cost centers.
• Reconcile cash, credit card, and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy between POS systems and PMS.
• Check discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary postings for management approval.
• Review daily cashier reports, support documents, and ensure all are properly signed and filed.
• Identify and report any revenue leakages or irregularities to the Chief Accountant.
• Prepare and submit the Daily Revenue Report and Night Audit Summary for management by morning.
• Post all revenue journals and ensure accurate interface between Opera PMS, Micros POS, and accounting systems.
• Support the monthly closing process by maintaining organized and verified daily records.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, and Catering teams to ensure revenue completeness.
• Support the Finance Department in auditing catering event invoices and banquet revenue postings.
• Communicate discrepancies promptly to concerned departments for correction before system closure.
• Maintain effective communication with the Chief Accountant and Front Office Night Team to ensure smooth operations.
