Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day financial audits for guest transactions, room revenues, and service charges.
- Balance cash drawers, reconcile daily income, and prepare accurate financial and occupancy reports.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently during overnight hours.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Conduct security checks, ensuring hotel safety and compliance with emergency procedures.
- Update and maintain guest information in the property management system.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, engineering, and front office teams for issue resolution.
- Assist in managing night operations, including lobby supervision and handling late arrivals.
- Monitor inventory of front desk supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Ensure all accounting procedures adhere to internal policies and audit standards.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel front office, accounting, or night audit operations.
- Strong knowledge of PMS and accounting systems, preferably Opera and Micros.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
