NOC Engineer

In this role, the NOC Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end monitoring, incident triage, and coordination of resolution efforts. The primary responsibilities include:

• Monitoring network and system performance using various tools.
• Responding to alerts and incidents, performing initial triage, and escalating as necessary.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network and system issues.
• Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participating in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
