Noir Bar Waiter / Waitress
The Bar waiter/waitress is responsible for preparing and serving
beverages as well as food to guests during an assigned shift in a courteous and
professional manner according to proper service standards as set by Kempinski.

It combines exciting shopping, entertainment and dining options with lavish accommodation, including 15 spacious but cozy ski chalets overlooking Ski Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the outlet is clean, neat and tidy
and ready to accept guests.
• Up-sell or promote all specials advertised in
the outlet as well promoting slow moving items.
• To have a thorough understanding and knowledge
of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food
& Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.
• Responsible for all side duties described in the
job task check list and to complete all side work prior to the opening and
closing of the restaurant
• To stock all supplies & glassware ordered by
the bar manager.
• T o maintain knowledge of bar inventory and wine
selection to respond properly to guest questions.
• To maintain a thorough knowledge of beverage
recipes and mixing procedures.
• To have an extensive knowledge of cocktails and
• To assist in maintaining responsibility for the
set up and cleanliness of entire bar and adjoining lounge area at all times.
• To display beverage selection in an attractive
• To ensure that the bar is stocked with
mise-en-place and kept clean and tidy at all times.
• To ensure that bar guests receive their orders
promptly and courteously.
• To be knowledgeable of all ingredients and
prices of the food and beverage listed on the menu.
• Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and
assisting co-workers as needed.
• To ensure that all potential and real hazards
are reported and rectified immediately.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Up-sell or promote all specials advertised in the outlet as well promoting slow moving items and have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu with the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.
• Minimum of 1-2
years experience in a similar role, preferably in a five star hotel / up
market bar environment.
• Strong
communication skills, enthusiastic, flexible and high attention to details
• Flexibility to
work longer hours as per business demand
• Knowledge of
additional language is an advantage
