O&M – Plant Manager AMEA Power

Position Purpose Manage solar plants day to day activities, maintenance activities, liaise with off taker and preparing progress/generation reports and coordinating with Dubai office technical and financial departments. Follow company HSE policy & procedures. Responsibilities • Enforce Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy in all their responsibilities and ensure that external third parties (O&M sub-contractors, vendors, consultants.) operate in a manner acceptable to AMEA HSE standards. • Perform monitoring and report operating performance. • Managing day-to-day operations of the plant, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards • Utilizes Asset Performance Software to evaluate plant technical performance, analyze production losses and propose preventive/corrective action plans. • Preparing and managing O&M budget. • Supervise site personnel including O M subcontractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms, corporate policies and best industry practices. • Negotiate sub-contracts from selected contractors, monitoring and influencing all maintenance and operations for the assets. • Maintain and grow good relations with all stake holders. • Manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities. • Assist with the development of internal operating policies, standards and procedures • Assistance in due diligence process, including review of operational parameters and budget. • Overall management of energy generation & exports. • Support financial controller with analysis of P&L variance and CF Forecast and solar plants budget review. Job Description Person Specifications Experience Requirements • At least 5 years’ experience and proven track record managing plant O&M activities. • Proven experience in maintenance planning (scheduling). • Understanding of EPC and O&M contracts and project documents. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. • Master’s in Business related subject will be a plus. Required Skills • Operation and Maintenance Management. • Electrical equipment maintenance and testing. • Commercial Awareness. • MS Office Suite (Especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint). • Knowledge of AutoCAD. • Excellent written and oral communication in English. • Written and oral communication in French (will be a plus).
