Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and social needs, ensuring tailored therapy plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance clients' ability to perform daily activities and improve quality of life.
  • Utilize specialized therapeutic techniques and tools, such as adaptive equipment, to facilitate clients' rehabilitation and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to create cohesive care strategies for clients.
  • Monitor clients' progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about conditions and therapeutic techniques, empowering them to participate actively in the recovery process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
  • Valid DOH licensure as an occupational therapist, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in various settings in the UAE, showcasing versatility and adaptability in practice.
  • Experience working with specific populations (e.g., paediatrics, geriatrics, mental health) to cater to diverse client needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of occupational therapy.
