1. Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of a client's physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional capabilities, as well as their daily living environment.
2. Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized goals and objectives for therapy, focusing on improving their functional abilities.
3. Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans that include activities and interventions designed to address specific challenges and improve overall function.
4. Therapeutic Activities: Administer therapeutic activities and exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive abilities.
5. Adaptive Techniques: Recommend and teach the use of adaptive equipment, devices, and strategies to facilitate independence in daily activities.
6. Sensory Integration: Work with clients, particularly children, to address sensory processing difficulties that may affect their behavior and participation.
7. Functional Skills Training: Provide training in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, cooking, and using public transportation.
8. Environmental Modifications: Assess and recommend modifications to home, school, or workplace environments to enhance accessibility and safety.
9. Assistive Technology: Evaluate and recommend assistive technology devices to support clients in communication, mobility, and independence.
10. Education and Counseling: Educate clients, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to maximize independence and coping skills.
11. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as needed to achieve goals.
12. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
13. Pediatric Services: In pediatric settings, OTs may work with children to address developmental delays and sensory integration difficulties./p>

Complying with Policies, Procedures and Practices of the SEHA facilities and other regulatory requirements:
Complying consistently with facility policies, procedures and practices and ensuring alignment with SEHA facilities policies/p>

Completing and maintaining regulatory requirements including licensure and certification and other mandatory training within established time frames/p>

Maintaining Confidentiality:
Maintaining confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in the current capacity of role in accordance with facility policy./p>

Promoting Customer Service standards:
Assuming the role of a brand ambassador for the facility and promoting a customer focused philosophy in dealing with any stakeholders/p>

Maintaining positive and effective working relationships within the department/division and also with other departments/sections within the facility/p>

Performing any other duties as may be assigned relevant to the basic responsibilities of the role/p>

Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety, Materials Management and Maintenance standards:
Adhering to requirements of the Occupational Health and safety guidelines and infection control guidelines/p>

Understanding and adhering to emergency preparedness plans/policies./p>

Ensuring Personal Effectiveness: Recognizing the necessity of continuously developing skills and acquiring additional knowledge appropriate to the position/p>

Dressing appropriately to meet the expectations of the specific work area and in alignment with the Occupational Health and Safety policies/p>

Building key partnerships within the organization for pursuing client-centered, comprehensive, integrated systems of care/p>

Complying with any regulations related to mentoring, training, development of UAE national's staff./p>
