Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Odoo Implementation Officer will be responsible for migrating accounting and procurement operations from Tally to Odoo ERP for an Equipment Rental business. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on Odoo implementation experience, and a solid understanding of rental business operations including asset management, rental billing, and procurement of equipment and spare parts.
The above mentioned will be done by the odoo team. The main job of the candidate to make sure the implementation as per the company criteria and process (Equipment company). In addition, the main task will begin, once implementation is completed he has to update the entries in odoo, our team member will be done entry in the tally. Both parallel run will be done to verify the both the balance will matching till standard time/month as per the owner. Any changed required as per the process communicate to Odoo team and make sure implemented. This is the accounting task.
for Procurement
1) upon receiving enquiry for the clients . need to send out quotations along with documents if that particular machine is available in stock
2) Create and maintain Vendor Master (payment terms, taxes, price lists)
3) Prepare and process RFQs and Purchase Orders in Odoo
4) Ensure purchased rental equipment is:
Properly received into inventory
Capitalized as Fixed Assets
Linked with depreciation and asset categories
Coordinate procurement data with Asset and Rental modules
- Ensure procurement entries reflect correctly in:
Accounts Payable
Inventory valuation
Fixed assets - Verify tax, landed cost, and freight postings
- Support vendor payments and reconciliation
- Generate procurement reports:
Purchase analysis
Vendor performance
Equipment procurement cost - Support rental cost and profitability analysis
- Train procurement on correct Odoo data entry
- Prepare SOPs for procurement and GRN processes
- Support users during post-go-live operations
