Logistics officer will provide supply support for logistics management such as supply support, maintain logistics, management of retail and whole activities, issuing and receiving supplies and equipment, spares, personnel requirements, research warranty plans, implementation and cost analysis. Determine current and projected materiel requirements.
Will also be responsible to:
1. To support a functional group staff section S-4 (Non-Aviation).
2. To assist the logistics supervisors in their daily functions of the aviation group and other activities engaged in the acquisition, receipt, storage, preservation, and issue of equipment, repair parts fortification material, subsistence, water, and other general supplies and ammunition. Support and give guidance to supervisors and employees to guide them in performing their daily tasks.
3. Responsible to the logistics Team Lead for all logistics functions at home station and deployment. Logistics operations positions concerned with directing, developing and performing specific mission operations; aircraft, weapon system and other designated programs.
4. The work includes identifying requirement for funding, manpower, facilities maintenance and supplies and services.
5. Provides technical and administrative functions while performing supply management and logistics automation functions.
6. Providing customer service and property accountability; hand receipt updates; asset visibility, and equipment availability. Support the management of cargo distribution functions: receiving storing, issuing; tracking, packing and shipping of supplies.
7. Resolves the issues related to storage, safety, and HAZMAT Storage.
8. Manages storage space utilization and develop locations system and care of supply in storage.
9. Maintains the storage facilities and materiel handling equipment. Assist in the inventory management of retail and wholesale supply activity.
10. Assist the property manager to determine and analyses current and projected material requirements. Supports the Facility Maintenance Team at help desk by maintaining and updating a work order database, identifying and tracking facility work orders and advises and assists in discrepancy resolution.
11. Research information for items to be purchased using the ADDMIS System. Reviews and tracks logistics milestones, drafts briefings, review logistics deliverables for accuracy; research transportation data on Global Transportation Network.
12. Collaborates with vendors on bid analysis.
13. Advise and assist the property book officer with hand receipt and property accountability functions.
