Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform detailed design and structural analyses for offshore structures such as:
- Jackets and piled foundations
- Topside modules and integrated decks
- Bridges and flare structures
- Pipeline risers
- Installation engineering (float over floatoff)
- Conduct in-depth constructability reviews and provide engineering support for brownfield modifications.
- Carry out weight control engineering including estimates, monitoring, and reporting.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client and international standards.
- Interface with project teams, client representatives, certification authorities, subcontractors, and global work-share offices to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute technical expertise throughout all project phases conceptual, FEED, detailed design, EPC, and EPIC.
- Support and mentor junior engineers, promoting technical excellence within the team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree (B.E. /B Tech) in Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Masters degree (M . E . /M .Tech) in Structural Engineering preferred
- 13-17 years of relevant experience in offshore structural engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience in offshore structural design and engineering analysis.
- Strong technical foundation with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SACS, USFOS, etc)
- Comprehensive knowledge of international design codes (API RP 2A, AISC, ISO, etc).
- Familiarity with OPCO/client standards (eg ADNOC, TOTAL, etc)
- Strong expertise in both new design and modification projects (greenfield & brownfield).
- Solid background in weight control engineering and constructability reviews.
