Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs for offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards like API and DNV.
- Perform structural analyses using software such as SACS, USFOS, or similar, to assess the integrity and performance of offshore structures.
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for offshore projects, including foundations, topsides, and subsea components.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marine engineers, geotechnical engineers, and fabrication specialists, to ensure project success.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on structural design and analysis.
- Extensive experience with offshore structure design, including jackets, topsides, and subsea structures, showcasing practical knowledge.
