Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Set up and lead day-to-day operations of a Transport Recovery unit.
Hire and manage recovery agents, drivers, and support staff.
Coordinate recovery of vehicles/assets (breakdowns, repossessions, etc.)
Deal with transport authorities, RTO, and police (as required)
Oversee fleet management, GPS tracking, dispatch, and documentation
Build SOPs for asset recovery, service delivery, and reporting
Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams
Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans, analyzing market trends, and identifying new opportunities within the operational framework.
Oversee all operational aspects, including logistics, inventory management, and customer service, ensuring seamless processes and optimal efficiency to meet sales targets.
Manage and mentor the sales and operations teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Analyze sales data, market research, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and operational effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field provides a solid foundation.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales and operations management, preferably within the relevant industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and operational processes.
