Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime through proactive monitoring and swift troubleshooting.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures related to equipment operation and maintenance, fostering a safe working environment and preventing accidents.
  • Manage equipment inspections, maintenance schedules, and repair logs, coordinating with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely and effective servicing.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to align equipment utilization with project schedules and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and manufacturer specifications related to equipment operation and maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
  • Exhibits a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy equipment.
  • Exhibits strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to construction equipment operation.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Exhibits the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
