Position Description:
Internal Auditing is seeking Operational Auditors to be based in our corporate headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Internal Auditing is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the operations of Saudi Aramco. Internal Auditing helps the organization to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization s risk management, control, and governance processes.
Internal Auditing provides members of management and the Board of Directors with analyses, recommendations, and information concerning the activities reviewed.
Internal Auditing consists of two departments; Operational Audits and Functional Audits. There are three audit divisions under each department.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate, you will hold bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or another related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
You will have a minimum of seven years of experience in auditing within the oil and gas industry; with a special preference for oil reserves and drillings operation experience, and strong familiarity with API (American Petroleum Institute) standards.
You should hold at least one professional certification, such as the Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or a similar professional credential.
You must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications in the English language, and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
You should be flexible to travel within the Kingdom and/or outside the Kingdom to conduct audit and consulting engagements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform the responsibility of in-charge (lead) auditors and work under the direction of an Audit Manager.
Identifying key business and operational processes for identifying and assessing current and emerging risks.
Plan and/or execution and/or reporting of internal audits to management.
Establish the objective and scope of the audit engagement.
Develop comprehensive risk based audit programs.
Prepare or assist in preparing audit reports.
Deliver presentations to client s management at the audit opening and closing meetings.
Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to inexperienced or less experienced staff.
Evaluate the performance and capabilities of the assisting staff auditors.
Assist the Company s external auditors, as required, in their interim and year-end audit work.
Perform consulting activities, including assisting with or leading presentations to the audit client s management on internal controls and controls self-assessment.
Perform other assurance and consulting activities on internal controls as requested.
