Position Overview
The Operations Director will lead Majid Al Futtaim s global corporate services portfolio, covering corporate facilities, international travel, corporate card programs, and financial aspects of government relations. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and fostering stakeholder engagement across multiple geographies. Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Director will oversee large-scale vendor management, budgetary control, and strategy execution to support business growth and sustainability goals.

What You ll Do
* Develop and execute global strategies for corporate facilities, covering office space planning, renovations, security, maintenance, and health & safety across regional hubs.
* Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery across facilities and travel management.
* Lead the design and execution of a global corporate travel program, optimizing policies, vendor partnerships, and online booking systems to reduce cost and enhance compliance.
* Administer and optimize corporate card programs, including issuance, policy management, expense reporting, and reconciliation.
* Use advanced analytics to identify spending patterns, highlight risks, and implement cost-saving opportunities.
* Partner with government relations and legal teams to manage the financial aspects of lobbying, compliance, and political contributions in line with company policies.
* Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions within government relations.
* Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline and operational efficiency.
* Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational models and embed best practices across corporate services.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
* 10 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations within a multinational corporation, ideally in retail or related industries.
* Proven expertise in corporate facilities management, travel program oversight, and corporate card administration.
* Demonstrated financial acumen in budget management, cost optimization, and compliance reporting.
* Strong background in stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and global program execution.
* Experience with enterprise-level systems and travel/expense management platforms.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with a track record of delivering results in complex, global environments.
