SHARE JOB Overview: This role will be accountable for leading the Operational Excellence (OE) program across business lines and has the responsibility to contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. Focus is on setting goals and priorities and follow-through for execution. Allocate accountability among staff. Focus is on guiding and shaping the operational departments by utilising previous experience and combining technical knowledge. Does not work under supervision to acquire skills and knowledge. Responsibilities: - Manage major projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals. Provides project leadership, mentors OE team members, and provides training in Lean and Six Sigma concepts. - Responsible for managing process re-engineering and coordinating the efficient transfer of process and technology from development to teams. - Prepare budget plans based on projection of revenues and cost forecasts by various business groups. - Be part of expansion and growth plan activities to structure the same efficiently. - Analyse and present monthly process cost statements & conduct cost reviews. - Examine profitability trends over process life cycle & compare with estimates. - Provide analytical inputs to General Managers on utilization, costs and profitability for planning. - Devise & implement measurement tool for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan - Responsible to lead the change process by working closely with Supervisors and Managers. - Monitoring adherence to quality systems & ensuring compliance with various * Service Levels, quality standards & maintaining requisite documents. - Conducting process audits & process reviews for ensuring strict adherence to the process parameters / systems as per defined guidelines. - Implementing Customer feedback Management systems to maximize customer satisfaction level. - Optimizing available resources through capacity planning and continuous improvement to maximise productivity - Leading, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in service operations and meeting of individual & group targets - Promotes OE culture through the introduction of data/fact based decisions, systems thinking, employee empowerment, teams, and various statistical tools Company Industry Oil & Gas / Petroleum Department/Functional Area Engineering Desired Candidate Profile Job Specific Education & Certification, Skills & Competencies and Experience: Education & Certification: - Preferable to have Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) Skills & Competencies: - Must be aware of the service life cycle in engineering industry. - Demonstrated ability to implement new techniques and continuous improvement programs at all levels of operations - Planning and organizational skills – prioritization, resource allocation, multi-tasking. - Experienced and certified Black Belt, Green Belt or Lean Expert - Very good communication (Verbal & Written), interpersonal, consulting and presentation skills. - Independent problem solving ability and negotiation skills. - Ability to adhere to deadlines form start to finish. - Strong attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills. Experience: - Minimum 08-12 years of work experience in the related job function.
