Operations Lead
Key responsibilities:
• Strategy/Business Planning
• Driving and be the contact point for long term strategic brand planning processes to ensure optimal life-cycle management of in line brands and new launch brands
• Provide input and monitor smooth execution of pipeline acceleration plans (I-O)
• Leverage PCS / Marketing Excellence support
• Ensure seamless planning of budgeting and projection/updates cycles
• Design and implement new innovative business models and solutions in Saudi Arabia
• Participate in the communication related to the above processes
• Ability to identify critical business opportunities and effectiveness needs, develop and implement effective strategies that drive BioPharma performance and long-term growth and productivity priorities
• Manage cross-functional projects including Sales & Marketing, Medical, Access, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, Compliance & HR, in order to support integrated business strategies & execution, develop and implement successful strategies to support commercial performance
• Act as a strong and active contributor at Operating Committee forum in order to support shaping the present and the future of the local BMS organization
• Strongly collaborate with CEEME Business Strategy and Operations Lead
• Drive initiatives related to gathering and interpreting customer insights (market research)
• Drive deployment of innovative customer engagement tools, develop and implement Multi-channel & digital strategy for Saudi Arabia
• Ensure effective promo mix and usage of available tools and materials
• Ensure project management / coordinate key events addressing customers
• Implement new Selling Model and overall Business Excellence Framework
• Translates business strategy into operational goals and objectives for sales force size, structure and models
• Works with the Business Unit Leads and HR to optimize sales force resource allocation and territory alignments in order to maximize the potential of Saudi
• Ensure full deployment and effective usage of Veeva / Interact in Saudi
• Set field force KPIs, measure and interpret FF activities
• Manages and drives training & development conventions, with specific regard to Sales Forces Effectiveness
• Coordinate development and implementation of motivation tools and incentive compensation / bonus system for sales force. Support implementation and control of compliant processes.
• Manage or lead diverse projects including but not limited to: Strategic plans, Business Models, Transparency
Qualifications and Key Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical / Medical field
• Business School degree or MBA is preferred
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of sales, marketing and business processes in the pharmaceutical industry and ability to analyze complex business issues
• Demonstrated track record of success in commercialization product(s) with high integrity while focusing on execution
• Leadership experience in selecting, leading, developing, motivating and achieving results through teams
• Effective strong presentation skills with the ability to create energy and excitement
• Demonstrated strong ability to act as change catalyst, adjusts and effectively responds to changing environments
• Demonstrated ability and desire to continuously drive process improvements and streamline activities and use of change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working
• Ability to flex across different types of cultures, complexities, business situations and matrix partners
• Proven history of seeking out new information and learning quickly ability to absorb new concepts, analyze data and ask insightful questions to make effective decisions-experiments
• Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Success in effectively communicating and influencing decisions with senior management
• Mastery in setting development plans, commercialization (marketing, sales and market research) and life cycle management processes
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, broad and in-depth understanding of the Saudi healthcare system.
• Knowledge of market research principles and dynamics & Multi Channels.
• Strong project management, analytical and forecasting skills
• Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.
• Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic
